Leg Up Equestrian is a family owned and operated English Riding Academy and horsemanship school serving the Charlotte NC (near Ballanytyne, Waxhaw) & Fort Mill SC communities. Since 1997, Leg Up has been offering year-round English Horseback Riding Lessons and Summer Camps. Leg Up’s Riding Academy and Horsemanship Programs feature one of the leading youth equestrian programs in the Carolinas, and has earned a well founded reputation in the greater NC/SC horse community.

While Leg Up has grown significantly over the years, you’ll still find the same genuine warmth and close-knit community our students, families, and friends have come to expect. At Leg Up, teaching is our passion – and it shows! We foster a supportive learning environment – down-to-earth, approachable. Regardless of age or riding experience, our guiding principles are the same: Safety, Fun, Learning, Personal Growth.

We teach a comprehensive Horsemanship program including Hunter-Jumper and English Equitation, with an emphasis on introducing students to Combined Training (CT): Dressage, Stadium Jumping, and Cross-Country. In addition to our regular lesson program, Leg Up offers two in-house school shows, open to ALL ages and riding levels, camps, clinics, and a Working Student mentorship program. Leg Up runs on a Quarter class calendar (Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall). Horseback Riding classes and lessons offered throughout the year – limited enrollment.

	Program Fees:	$550/quarter (10 week session) + $45 registration fee (annual)Flex Payment Option: $175/mo with Semester (20 Lessons) enrollment.
